First production

I've been so busy recently working with The mercury theatre, that I've had no time to blog. Now the production is over (sob!) I have some time to tell you all about it.

Working in costume was one of the most amazing experiences EVER! I learned so much, and I'm so lucky to have been a part of it. It made it even more exciting that it was Quadrophenia, my dads favourite, based on mods in the 60's, exciting! 

It took a lot of long days, but we managed to get everything in the two week period we were given, and put on an amazing sell out show. The cast were amazing, the costumes were amazing, the set was amazing, and the designer was amazing!

It took hours of sourcing costumes, and then hours altering everything to fit properly, but we managed it, and it came out looking amazing. 

Best experience ever! 

Finally

It's been on my to do list for such a long time, but finally I've started an actual blog rather than just my Tumblr and Pinterest accounts. I'll link both of those in as soon as I work out how!!

I plan for this to be a bit of everything; things I love, things I wear, things that inspire me, places i visit, and what I do. (I'm a dressmaker, training in bridal dressmaking, and freelancing as a theatrical costume/wardrobe assistant) 

I hope things will inspire you as much as me, and that this will be a way for me to share everything I love and learn with as many people as possible.
